October Holiday

October 19th,2017

On October 1, 1949 is the start of modern China’s history, when the communist party took power.  Here is some detailed information from the US State department: https://history.state.gov/milestones/1945-1952/chinese-rev and from a local Chinese travel site:  https://www.chinatravel.com/facts/china-national-day.htm

As an important day in China’s history, it lasts a full week.  Unlike the Chinese New Year, it is not a family holiday, so there’s nothing better to do than take a nice vacation.  Local staff and expats take the time to enjoy new places in China or go abroad.  What did our team do this year?

From Zhejiang Province and Shanghai to Kho Samui, Sri Lanka, Australia, and London, we all enjoyed different sights, beaches, sunny skies, and the chance to catch up with good friends.

Now we’re back to work and more focused on the work of improving the experience for our teachers, students, and parents.  Until the next holiday, we’ll be here!
